Raise Money For Your Nonprofit Agency While Showing People A Good Time

Hosting a casino party is a great way to raise funds needed for town beautification efforts that your nonprofit agency will be supporting. People will have fun, trying their luck with one of the casino games that are offered, and the event will provide ample time for you to introduce yourself to people in the community and fill them in on the cause that you are promoting.
The Event Will Be a Win-Win Situation
You can rent slot machines, craps tables, and card tables from a supplier and make back the money that is spent by charging an admission fee for guests to attend the casino party. To ensure that enough funds will be raised for the beautification project, determine how much cash is needed to reimburse what was spent on the machines and figure out the amount that you would like to collect (per person) for the fundraiser.
In addition to the admission fees, request that your guests consider donating funds, and have one of your nonprofit agency's employees collect cash and credit card payments. People may not mind spending money since they are going to be provided with the opportunity to compete in some casino games.
If you would like to make the event even more attractive, advertise that there will be door prizes and other rewards that are handed out during the evening in lieu of cash prizes. Gift baskets or promotional products can be given to some of the winners, and these prizes will prompt people to stay put and enjoy themselves throughout the casino party.
Your Integration Could Be Beneficial
Get involved in the festivities by letting your hair down and testing your luck at some of the games. Your co-workers can also take part by joining in for a round or two of cards or by competing against others in some slot machine competitions. Everyone's participation may prompt the attendees to play the games that interest them.
You and your helpers can wear shirts that have your agency's logo printed on them. This will help the visitors pick everyone out from the crowd. Maintain a positive attitude during each casino game and verbally encourage people to play some of the games. Provide a brief description of how the raised funds will benefit the town, and announce that at the end of the party you will be awarding people with the door prizes and gift baskets.
